I was finally able to get a photo of the first fawn this year on camera yesterday and this Mama doe and her baby were actually out crossing the pasture ONLY about 30 minutes before I pulled the card from my camera. I surely hope that this one survives as there seems to be more coyotes on my property every year. There are several more "very pregnant" does that should be delivering in the next week or so too.
I was as happy as a kid in a candy store when I uploaded this card and found that it was the last photo taken from this past week !!!!
