Past few days herding sheep on Tybee

The sheep bite is in full swing and there were three days that felt like we could do nothing wrong. Every piece of structure (all public drops) we hit held sheep. Had to do some minor adjustments as the tide changed but it was throw the anchor, drop a fiddler diddler and set the hook. Had a few firsts, a lot of laughs and some choice words for the convicts that kept stealing our crickets. The offshore (deep sea fishing) off of Tybee right now is tough to beat.

Hope everyone is enjoying this beautiful weather and happy ocean. Ya'll be safe and as always, feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Man..you are tearing up the sheepies! I enjoy your posts very much! It looks like you use pretty light tackle...mind sharing your typical set up..main line, leader & hook of choice.

Thanks Captain!

I'm glad you like it brother. We are working on our first instructional video now. I use your basic inshore set up. Rod of your choice, I prefer a seven foot or shorter with a light tip and strong backbone. I use a 2500 to 4000 series spinning reel spoiled with 20 to 30 pound power pro. Two ounce egg sinker, thirty bound mono leader to your hook of choice. Allows more sensitivity to feel the bite. I hope this helps. It will all be in the video
