Got my trappers # last year for the first time. Went to renew my permit but cannot find my trappers number . I searched on the DNR website for a way to retrieve it but couldn't find anything. Any help?

Call the DNR, they will have it for sure. No worries!

x2. Done it myself few years ago. They'll even mail your current permit... ask nicely.

Do you not have trap tags with the number on it?

Yes, Just look at the tags that are attached to your traps ???

He may not have his number on his tags. It's not required.

Thanks. I didn't get any traps out last year so they're not tagged yet.

Ask for somebody that knows about trapping. You will be transferred. When that person answers, ask for trapping again. You will be transferred again. Then you'll be talking to somebody that can help you.

Question ? So I don't need to have a tag with my name and trapping # on the trap here in Georgia, because I always thought you did ????

In the Regs it says your name OR trappers number. But yeah your trap is supposed to be tagged.
