the closest Earth/Mars gets is 33.9 million miles. That ship is traveling just over 10,000 miles per hour. At that speed, it will take just over 141 days. Of course, we are not at our closest distance when it gets there, so 150 to 160 days is a good estimate.

Absolutely the coolest video I've seen yet. But you know, EM is doing nothing new according to some.
BTW, those were not new boosters. They have been used on other launches and will be re-used again. Nothing new though.

That is Awesome. We are a family of nerds and we have watched probably 50 different video's of the launch but this is absolutely the coolest of them all.

I am follow ing SpaceX a little closer now and the next time they have a launce and it is in Fl, we are there! So awesome!

Great estimates if you want to hit Mars. Takes a bit longer if you want to survive and land in an intact piece.

But if you are sending an overpriced golf cart, who cares about survivability?

If you want to contract a satellite to be launched, the Europeans will offer the Ariane for a couple hundred grand. But EM will launch a TESLA at no charge. After all he ain't paying, he's conned tax money from the gullible.
