Trying to complete my public land slam with my dad. Started this year's ago. Could have harveated Rios before but no toms so didnt shoot a jake. Rios are the last to get and he is getting to the point he can't go anymore so this is likely my last year.
We plan to head out the first week of the season and do the best we can with the few days we have. This is really our only option.
Can anyone give us good, solid, specific info to help? I can and will repay with like information on other subspecies or a private land eastern hunt.
