that toyota tacoma will be runnin long after that ford is sittin dead in the yard. i have a 01 4dr tacoma with 200k on it....only thing i've done is change the oil, rotate the tires, new timing belt, and had a coil fixed. still runs great. thinking of gettin a tundra before too long. on another note i did have a 94 ford "exploder" sold it for $1500 and it had almost 250k on it. used to always kick into neutral if i turned too sharp and when going up hill. dangerous to say the least. cant beat a yota but ford would be my 2nd choice. good looking truck
Same opinion on the Dodge 1500s as others have already posted. Poor transmissions (which is inexplicable to me in any kind of full sized pickup) that are doing good if they last 100K miles. Also poorer resale values.
