polaris recomends polaris oil.I have heard of polaris wiping the lobes off cam shafts when they don't have polaris oil in them , I have not seen this it may be a wifes tell . but for ga weather 10w 30 is your best bet you make the call on polaris oil or not check on highlifter they would know for sure

40w synthetic oil is what my dads 98 polaris 425 magnum calls for.

Got an '05 330 Mag, same motor as your Trailboss. It's had 0-40 Mobile One synthetic since new, still runs like new.

All Polaris 4-strokes use 0w-40 syntetic motor oil. Any good brand should do fine. Polaris,mobile 1,and bel-ray would be my top choices.
