Awning repair

The awning on my pop up has fallen off. The thread that holds the awning bag to the plastic V channel rotted. The awning is in great shape. I talked to a dealer and they said they did not repair them and to find some one that could sew it on. I have not been able to find anyone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Usually, by the time you spend the time and money to repair it, you will find that the old awning really wasn't in as good a shape as you thought. It's probably not a whole lot more expensive to replace it as it is to repair it. I had a pop-up and it was cheaper to replace the canvas than it was to repair the damaged screens on the windows.
