Allatoona report 1/8 & 1/9

Got out on Allatoona for another gorgeous weekend with the kids and friends. It was a little windy and cloudy on Saturday, but the fishing was much better than on Sunday when the wind was still and it was sunny. ::huh:

We flatlined shad both days and caught 5 stripers and 5 hybrids on Saturday and only a 6# hybrid on Sunday. Saturday the gulls were diving on shad being chased to the top and fish were busting all over the middle lake. There were a bunch of boats fishing them, but there were schools coming up all over so everyone was spreadout.

On Sunday those schools were no where to be found and the one school that we did see come up had 20 boats on it. :shoot: :shoot:

Josh with the first fish on Saturday... a 10# striper.

Danny,
Looks like a good weekend on the water. I love the pictures. Hopefully, we will be posting some pictures of some Toona slabs soon.
