If you have a hutch you can have a bunch in a hurry.

I love to hunt them too.. No time for dogs. So, my deal
is bring dogs. I have the dirt.
Not sure I would buy chink. There was a guy in Monroe
that had a few single-wide trailers converted to hutches.
No telling how many rabbits he had at any given time.
He made a PILE of money on the dressed meat and sold
breeders.
I did the same in the 90's but not on that scale.
San Juan looks just like a field rabbit.
Most of the ones I sold were turned loose and rich folks
"hunted" them after a few days in the "wild".
I ate them right out of the pen.
Better than a field rabbit cause I fed them good.
Way the ole'bummer economy is going, I'm thinking about
raising everything from cattle to quail. Might need to eat ya' know.
