Mountain and Piedmont Deer

Hope everyone is having a good season and ready for the holidays. Haven’t checked in in a while. Had a good season so far. Connected with a good buck in the Piedmont and finally connected in the mountains this morning. Been a slow season for me in the mtns, but it seems to be getting better. This mountain buck was trailing a doe and grunting every step. Good luck to everyone for the remainder of the season.

Good job on two nice bucks. Been seeing lots of does coming into fields in the evenings...hopefully a couple will bring bucks in tow. I hunt a few places on NF that butt up to private pasture lands/fields. This weekend I'll be on the trails that lead to them.
