I haven't the foggiest idea how much this bear weighs approx??

When their head looks small they are big.................big bear..........maybe 400#

I judge a mature bear more by the appearance of his head than anything. Big pumpkin head with his ears on the side of his head. If his girth matches his frame (and it most likely does) he's easily 400 or more.
