Whats on the bottom of this deers jaw? He didn't have this 10 days ago as far as I can tell.

I had a doe that had a swelling like that. She was real thin when I saw her and lost more weight. The research I did said it was intestinal parasites. Called "lumpy jaw or Bottle jaw". Look at my thread called "skinny"

I'm no biologist and this is just a guess but I believe bucks have some sort of gland right there he could have a problem with that gland

May be a puss pocket injured from fighting. Buddy killed one once ant it had one further down the neck full of clear yellow liquid.
