Default Best breed

What would be the best breed of dog for waking with you and busting deer out of thickets and running about 100 yards and coming back? We have a lot of small tracks we need something like that.

Catahoula would make a good n. I see your names lab man I bet an ole blockheaded smart lab would be jam up instead of flushin birds he could flush bucks
