Default Out door range near Peachtree City.

I have a friend that wants to practice with a pistol at an outdoor range near Peachtree City. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe I should rephrase that to the closest outdoor range to Peachtree City.

Griffin Gun Club is 40 minutes from my house. first year is $500, then $200 plus 12 hours work or $15/hour not worked.
Old data from 4 years ago though.
Skeet and Eat for $20 on 2nd and 4th Thursday is a good way to check out the club.

Also Steel Match is open to the public

On Target (AR Bunker) indoor range is a lot cheaper for just a few hours, and on Ga 74

Is there an out door range that you can shoot at without having to become a member some where around Peachtree City, Georgia. Could even be in Alabama.

Default With a WMA stamp

My son used to shoot for $5 at Big Red Oak in Gay until some alpha hotel shot a car on 109. Now it cost ~$200 to be a member there. Then he drove 1+20 to Big Lazer creek when it was free. 8 Lanes, no RO. Now you need a a WMA stamp.
Guy in Palmetto has a 300 yd range, but I hear he's crotchety and charges something.
Good Luck

And later I noticed you mentioned Alabama. The CMP Talledega range is primo, but almost 2 hours and $10/hr.

100, 200 300 and 600 yd targets electronically scored.
I've been once. You have to watch a 15 minute safety video, start at the 100 yd range to prove you can hit the target, then advance to the grownups range.

Try South River.

Rockdale line on the river.

I worked for the original owner.
(not at the club but at the shop)

Call "Dee" @ Evans Tool & Die. Conyers.
770 922 3480.

Len Evans III, IS the shotgun man.
More trophies than Carter's liver pills and
does forcing cones and ports too.
His dad, Len Jr., founded the gun club and owned it for years.

If nothing has changed, you can shoot
combat handgun, target handgun, skeet and trap.
Pay to play.

Back then, to shoot the rifle range, you had to
have a member with you.

Been a while. Would be worth a phone call I think.
