Here is a Big hog taken last Friday with a Marlin 336, 30/30 with some of the New "Lever Revolution" ammo.
Dropped him right in his tracks.
Good Luck.

It is fairly common to see cases scratched when laoding into a 30-30. It can be solved, but the loading gate is the
LAST part to take out when taking a 30-30 apart. The receiver will be completely gutted once you get it out to polish it and inside the receiver. I think I would live with the scratches

I had a 35 remington and 45/70 mar;in both had the same problem. It wasn't that bad unless you loaded and unloaded the same rounds over and over like unloading after every hunt. Anyone know of an aftermarket magazine cut off?

i live with the scratches.i usually put the rounds back in my "range shooting box" after ive chambered them several times.i think the scatches are more cosmetic than any thing but it gives me more plinking rounds after season.id be more concerned about the soft point noses getting dented up.
