Default Mathews shooters - what string?

A question for the Mathew's shooters...I have an LX that needs a string replacement, which ones have you guys been happy with? I don't shoot 3-D, but I do shoot quite a bit. It's primarily for hunting.
Thanks

I do not shoot a Mathews but I do know a thing or 2 about strings. Any of the following make top of the line strings that I would not hesitate to put on any bow: Winners choice, Stone Mountain, Crackers, Vapor trail, Berry Strings, or GAS strings.

Thanks reylamb,

Didn't you make custom strings at one time?

reylamb,,, "Crackers"???? Would that be the one up in the great north west?
I sent my Martin SlayR to him right after I bought it new. He did a limb swap, cable/string changes which made the bow more forgiving (brace height) and a little faster,,, BUT,, I am now having peep rotation problems and the string has creeped.. I'm not recommending his strings unless I just got a bad one or he made some changes. I'll be ordering a set of Winners choice, Stone Mountain, Vapor trail, Berry Strings, or GAS strings.
I was suprised to see that MUZZY makes some pretty custom strings also. I put a set on an old Bear bow and was very please.

Duckbill, yes I do but I do not like to advertise and it is not a full time thing for me.

1More, Crackers, aka Mike Carter, is in Missouri. He does do a lot of Martin work and I have never heard any problems with his stuff. Did you send it to Crackers or to Martin? I have never had any experience with the Muzzy strings so I do not know how good they are...........

reylamb,, Thats him. I sent it to him,,, not Martin. If you ever get some spare time, Call Muzzy about their strings. The lady spoke with me for a whilke and explained about how they sereve them and the pre-stretch they put on their strings. They make them out of the 452, 8125, 450+, and all the other top materials out there... AND FOR A LOT LESS $$$$$$$

I've heard that when you put a Winners Choice string on you get more noise out of the string. Anyone else heard this?

Not so much to be worried about it. Typically, the WC strings are faster that their Zebra counterparts so there is a little more noise do the the slightly faster string speed.
