Default How to stop a dog from peeing on your tires?

This should get interesting. I would like any suggestions on stopping my dog and other dogs from peeing on my tire. Serious suggestions would be nice but comical ones will keep the thread going.

Unless you either park the vehicle outa reach, or eliminate dogs completely, you might as well give up on this venture.

Hook a live wire to each of your rims...then let him have at it. Bet he don't do it but once more. After that he won't come near your truck.

Of course, I'm only kidding.

I love the catheter idea, It would solve the problem considering my dog would leave and never come back.

Put vehicle on blocks.....remove tires.....repeat as needed.

Have no idea actually.....my neighbor has a dog that I named "Whizzer" that comes over twice a day and pees on just about every tire. Dang dog must down a six pack before every trip over cause there is 4 vehicles and he lights every one up.

Oh wait, sorry, I thought you were talking about a 'Dawg' fan... As in a person... Possibly your neighbor, peeing on your tires! Maybe the yellow jacket isn't a good idea.

Negative reinforcement. BB gun (not pumped all the way), spray with hose, better yet, get a female dog.

Default Wood Answer

If it's your dog, I really like the 4 plywood panels idea. Otherwise, if it's a neighors dog, a 2x4 or baseball bat sounds like a good idea..........

I had one once that would get on the hood an sleep!!!! I took and parked truck in a electric fence just about 7 or 8" of the ground. After a few times of getting shocked.I just had the electric fence in place with no power and one end even open to drive up in. That dog would get nowhere near that wire.Might work for the peeing.

Exclamation

Its a well known fact that dogs will only pee on FORD or DODGE trucks' tires, as they realize these are the only thing holding up the pile of junk.

My girlfriend has a cat that used to jump in the toilet when the seat went up. I was takin a pee one day he jumped in and got the golden shower that was the last time he did that. So the peeing on him might work.

It'll do a nice job on the paint too. They have quite a pattern at a distance.

I have a solution that will add years to your life through reduced stress and anxiety.

DON'T WORRY ABOUT A DOG WHIZZING ON YOUR TIRES. It's just a form of transportation, not a shrine.
