Default T/C Black Diamond question

I got a T/C Black Diamond muzzle loader in a trade on and had a question about it.

For some reason, I can't seem to get the sabot to go all the way down into the barrel. I push it down a couple of inches and it just stops. It acts like it just gets stuck, however, there's nothing in the barrel, it's already been cleaned, i've checked it time and time again and I don't know what the problem could be. I used the .50 sabots made by T/C and push it all the way down into the sabot sleeves that come with the sabots.

But no matter what I do, it won't go down. The barrel grooves are the only thing that I can think of that might have an effect on it, but it shouldn't stop it completely.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what the culprit might be or who i should take it to?

Thanks

I use the powerbelts in my Black Diamond and have no problems. The powerbelts are a lot easier to push down the bore than the sabots.
