Default Cleaning polished aluminum wheels....???

What is the best way to clean them and with what cleaner?

on true polished wheels that i have had i just used a rag and soapy water. any acidic cleaner will cause it to cloud up. and thats speaking from experience. back when i was younger i had bought a new set for my old 79 ford, they looked great till i sprayed cleaner on them. it made me

i think those scotch brite pads will work .I'm sure someone else has used them will know

Mother's brand aluminum wheel polish and time. You will ruin them with a scotch-brite pad!

I first use Eagle One Never Dull, it is amazing stuff, then I finish it with Mother's and a powerball.
But with the water ban my wheels look awful aint cleaned them since Aug.

If they're polished and clear coated...like a lot of polished aluminum wheels are...then just use soap and water. If they are clear coated, even brake dust will wash off with ease.

If you don't think they are clear coated, then something like 'Simple Green' works well. Don't use degreaser or aluminum mag acid, because they will dull the finish and sometimes streak it.

I clean mine with whatever I use on the rest of the vehicle.

Car wash and water. If they've gotten dull over time, I only use Mother's mag and aluminum polish. They'll look like you just bought 'em.

I use Mothers also. Keep a coat of wax on them. They clean real easy

Mr Clean magic eraser and Mcguires hot wheel cleaner in the pink bottle. Works great!

On my semi I use what ya call PEEKS easy to use better then Mother's and that is saying a lot cause Mother's is some darn Good Stuff
