Post EPD Water Ban

Look at this. http://www.gaepd.org/Files_PDF/news/...e%20050608.pdf

This was copied and pasted straight from the site!

Pretty much it states that those Local Municipalities that do not have a watershed to Lake Lanier that it will be up to the local goverment if they see fit to submitt a request to lower the Water Ban a level! Sure wish Pickens would ask permission from EPD but i believe everyone is too scared for this summer!

I didn't see this until now. My car is nasty and I live in Pickens county....I sympathize with you.

I guess I'm going to have to take my wash bucket outside in the next good rain and wash it.

Who could we call and complain about getting this thing lifted? It clearly tells everyone in the letter that (Local Goverment) can submitt a request to lower it. MO which dont go very far...The ban should be lowered! Lakes are full and we have steady rain. Just dont lift the ban completely but only to give us some relief.
