Lets take a look at the dow. A real look.

There has been alot of talk about how the baby boomers will completely loose their savings and how a trillion dollars were lost yesterday.

Take a look at the dow since 2000.

Did people's 401k's fall hard yesterday? Sure. But these people weren't complaining when this thing was climbing so fast. The stock market is not a sure thing. And it is not a short term game. When you look at the incredible growth that happened and look at where we are now, I think we needed a little market correction.

The dow is up almost 270 right now. Do you think that Bush and Obama will be on tv tonight saying that we made half a trillion dollars today.

All this mess about the fact that we lost a trillion dollars yesterday is nothing more than scare tactics.

Exactly! BTW the DOW is up 335.00 and the S&P is up 4%.

It closed at 480 up today. I doubt that this will get near as much coverage as the big lose from yesterday got.
