Help w/ these gun
The first is a side x side 12 ga, maybe the pics on the gun will give someone an idea.
The second is a side x side 20, most of the blueing is worn off, my Grandfather bought it in Germany during WWII. I know it is a damascus barrel and will handle light loads only. The writing on the gun is all in German.
Let me know if you know what they are and what they are worth, both still fire.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Pics are bad with my phone, I will retake with camera.....

post all of the markings on the guns if you can, even if they're in german. that will make it easier to identify them.
also, I wouldnt fire any modern ammo through those damascus barrels. just not worth the risk of them blowing up in your face.

Damascus
I used to shoot the 20 ga as a kid, boy did I hate shooting it. The gun is very light and all I shot was low brass out of it, it still kicked the crap out of me.
The only thing I can see on the 20 ga is the word "Nitro" on both barrels.
I will post the 12 ga german writing though.
Thx

Good chance the first one is a (Ithaca) Lefever Side Lock Hammerless.
Ithaca bought Lefever about 1915 and discontinued the production of that brand in 1948.
If that is it, there are 21 different grades and then you got to look at the condition factor.

In the first picture, I can make out (I think) Batavia N.Y.
Baker Shotgun.
Value in condition shown $300-500 to a really motivated buyer.

Nice
Nice 25-06
Good eyes and it does say Baker on it as well. I was not sure that was even a company.
Can you make out on the one side that the dog is pointing a rail or as we call them a "snipe"?
Thx, Sullivanfire

Thought that was a quail on one side.
Can't quite tell but the other side almost looks like a duck.

Considering the location of the company, it looks like a grouse to me.
