Default Buckmasters...Will they ever stop calling me???

Buckmasters calls me at least twice a day every day. Is anyone else getting called and how do you stop them from calling?

I had my son to answer and tell them I died and he wished they would stop the cruel torture of calling my phone....................... no calls since then.

Tell them to hold for a minute while you get him. Take phone to the bathroom. Flush the toilet. Sit on a balloon. Go out back and fire off a few rounds while squealing like a wounded pig.

Unfortunately, I had to get very ugly and ask to speak to Jackie B himself before they quit calling me.

Default THEY QUIT I think.

You are correct. I've never seen such persistence even after I told them I am not interested in joining. I finally told the last caller. Look dude, I'm trying to be polite here buy you guys have about reached the limit of my pleasantness! I told the guy, I don't join anything except church and the NRA so they are wasting their time and mine. They stopped after that. Last call was 2 months ago.

That's hilarious. I had a feeling I wasn't the only one. After about two weeks of daily calls I let the guy have it and haven't heard back.

Tell them that your season s**k. That if Jackie is such a good friend he should invite you to all of the good places he has to hunt. They will hang up on that most of the time.

50% of the time I ignore them

The other 50% I answer the phone and put it down and walk away with TV playing in the background

They still don't get it but if my efforts help waste their time and reduce their selling opportunity so much the better

Man I finally answered their call for the 1st time in 2 weeks.

It was some teenage guy that had a hard country accent(worse than mine) that wanted to talk to me about my last year's huntin. He was about half asleep too LOL yawning and you could tell he was stretching and groaning haha. Finally he got to the money part...No thanks.

But I get a free magazine! In like 2 months lol...

I've tried this with telemarketers, tell them to five you there home phone number and you will call them back later when it is more convenient for you. He will say, "I can't do that" tell him then what makes you think it's ok for you to call me.

I m telling you that I laughed so hard at that I cried!

It is true that they always ask about your season and I usually tell them some long drawn out tale and then hang up, but I think I am just going to tell them how awful it was and blame it on the misinformation that is in their magazine.

My dad has a Buckmaster's magazine by the phone and when they call he starts on page one and lists the advertisements for them. When he gets done-if they stick with him that long-he breaks down how many pages of print are included vs the number of pages of advertisements. No surprise there is as much or more advertising garbage than print.

if you don't order their magazine or sign up to win their "free hunt" with the buckmaster himself, they won't have your information and therefore won't call.

I saw they called like 3 or 4 days in a row and decided to see how many times they'd call without me answering...you won't believe it but they called 19 times in 13 days..I finally answered and got a lady who asked me how my season was going. I said "it would be alot better if I didn't get phonecalls from you guys everytime I get in the stand". She took me off the call list.

I've sure never done either of those, and they like to have bugged me to death for awhile. They buy your info from somebody else, probably any outdoor mag or DNR?

Constantly called by Buckmasters and NRA. I've got caller ID and I know the numbers. I don't pick up any 800 number.

Angry

They called me to thank us for entering the hunt and tried to sell us a subscription. We turned it down and now they are billing me $130 dollars for a 5 yr membership that I never wanted. I just wanted to win the free hunt. I called them and told them that I never signed up. They said that I made a verbal agreement. I wanted to hear the recording of that phone call. He said that was impossible because they don't record the calls. I told them this was a scam. He said "how is this a scam" and I proceeded to tell them how and that I wanted nothing to do with them. I have only recieved a bill and I dont want any of their magazines. I will not go on the hunt now even if Jackie (scam man) Bushman paid me to. I also sent them an email with a copy of the bill attached and said that the supposed account is to be closed. I am sending the bill back through certified mail tomorrow and have written "invalid account! Cancel immediately" on it with a copy of the email. I am keeping a copy for my records and am spreading the word about Jackie Bushman. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR HIS HUNT!! It will ruin your life! The man on the phone had the nerve to say that I ordered a magazing and now don't want to pay for it. I am sending anything they send me back.
