Default Sandhill crane season ?

Got a interesting email from the Kentucky DFWR on a proposal for a sandill crane season ..........hope they fly a lot lower over kY than they do GA .........

There is parts of KY that they use to rest if the weather up north is still bad

I know of 10 places within 20 miles of here where I could shot all of the sandhills I want. They come every winter and stay. However, because of the whooping crane project, we will not get a season on the eastern seaboard for the foreseeable future.
