Default Second Bird......

and I am officially hooked! I have not heard much gobbling on the property I am hunting but have a couple of areas that are covered up with signs of turkey. I went by after work yesterday and decided to set up close to one of those areas and not try to run and gun hoping to hear one. After about an hour, calling every 15 minutes or so I had a tom, jake and two hens stroll through............you know the rest of the story He has a ten inch beard, spurs just shy of one inch and I'm guessing around 18-19lbs. If I am lucky enough to get another bird this year I hope he is gobbling his head off.

Thanks again for all the help! How do you guys make it after the season is over!!! I guess I will have to start fishing again
