I'm interested in getting a new custom call from one of you guys.
Here's what I want...
I can't for the life of me find a good close range pot call that suits me. I want one that's able to make good, realistic clucks and purrs. It seems like I've run every mass produced call out there. I have some that sound pretty good, but I still can't get that "perfect" tone out of them. I'm partial to slate just because generally speaking, I'm able to get a better sound out of them. I have a buddy who's dad turns custom calls. I ran one of his that was (if i remember correctly) slate on walnut with a cherry striker. It had the sound I was looking for, but I didn't buy it
