Default with a GA permit can you carry in FL?

With a GA concealed weapons permit, are you allowed to carry in FL and AL? Please do not answer if youre unsure. Thanks

You sure can, just remember that it's their rules and laws that will will apply, not ours, so be brushed up on their laws.

Exactly.

Like, in Florida, accidentally having your gun exposed is a no-no.

Not trying to hijack original post but, do ya'll know if you have a carry permit in Fl. can you carry in Ga. or Ala.? Also, whats the cost in Ga? Thanks

Yes, Florida, Georgia, and Alabama all have reciprocity agreements. So, a carry permit in one of those states works in the others.

Check out usacarry.net. They have a map that will tell you where your permit is good.

I just renewed my GA liscense. It was $50. I think first time is a bit more.

Yes sir, not only are you good in Ga and Ala with a Fl licence, but South Carolina as well.
Ga and SC don't reciprocate with each other..
First time fee for a GWCL is $72.25 and takes 30 days or less, got mine in 12 days.

Yea, SC requires a training class that GA does not.

Thanks to Ga Carry.org and its ''communication efforts'' with various Probate Courts, reciept of the GWL is more in line with the specification in Georgia law. If your county is in compliance with the law you are fortunate. Some counties in the past have taken a ''leisurely attitude'' toward promptness.
