Opening day for bow season
So, where will everyone be on opening day? WMA? Federal land? Private? Hunt club? I think I'm going inland a bit to bullard Creek WMA. Good luck to everyone!!!

hope to be in Colorado hunting Elk . but if not then Clayton County water Auth. My buddy found the deer 2 days ago he shot last year in Nov. on CCWA. 8 point scoring @140. The following week he shot a 130"net 11. some people have all the luck.

I'll be working opening weekend....but the monday after that I'll be in the woods....probably on a WMA during archery season....and then safely on the lease once the rifles start popping off rounds.

It may be Kentucky. The opener for archery is over Labor Day weekend so I could get in a 3 day hunt and still not miss the opener here. I am sure it will be hot as blazes wherever I am.

One of three places. Either private land in Decatur or Grady counties or splashing around St. Joe Bay for the last of scallop season. I haven't gotten a chance to go scalloping yet this year, so I may do that. But alot depends on how hot it is. Last year we had a nice cool snap for opening morning.

you got it, when gun season starts its crazy on WMA's. At that time I'll be at archery only Allan Creek WMA( not great hunting but safe).
A few years ago I went to a WMA in mid-Nov, I seen so many cars/trucks I thought I was at walmart plus the feeling I might need for a bullet proof vest. lets all stay safe this year use a safety harness and also use your head.
