Default A Scathing Indictment of the Press (and Politicians)

It would be hard to present the evidence and the case any better.

That was excellent, thanks for posting.

Again ol Granddaddy's advice stands true:

Do you think that the Mainstream Media in the U.S. is getting tired of being scooped on political issues by the British press?

It's pretty bad when the UK Mail becomes a credible primary US news source.

PBS gives out more info than the rest of them. What does that say? Foreign news agencies are doing a better job than the US media. I very rarely ever watch any of the MSM any longer unless I am looking for a laugh on how they are trying to twist the facts. Sometimes MSNBC's routine is better than Saturday Night Live.

Consider this — I’m willing to bet that Chuck Todd thinks Jim DeMint, Mike Lee, Rand Paul and the like are fire breathers. Like many other members of the media, Chuck & Co. lament the loss of people like Richard Lugar, Robert Bennett, Evan Bayh, Olympia Snowe, etc. Those Senators “reached across the aisle.” But in reaching across the aisle, they made the American public reach around and grab their wallets. They and their wonderful bipartisan compromises drove us to $16 trillion in debt. The guys who fight the compromises and fight the debt increases are routinely the villains and the press frequently ignores their heroes are the ones getting us in the messes. But they are “adults” and “grown ups” and “mature.”
If I didn't know any better I would swear that Eric has been reading my posts on this forum.
