Question Catfishing in the Ocmulgee River...Help!

I live in Macon,Bibb County. I only like catfish and have access to the Ocmulgee so where's the best place to catch them? I don't have a boat either. I love that there isn't a limit on them, last time I checked. But for better water quality maybe Monroe County would be better. So either county would do. Just looking for catfish without a limit, and good water quality.
