Fishing for Bass with Finesse in the Winter

Chris Zaldain talks about his favorite two fishing finesse rigs for winter bass fishing. He shows us how he rigs them and then shows us where he likes to fish them. Some good underwater footage in this one...

Q. Please explain better how the soda straw harness is hooked up on the wacky rig.

A. I'm pretty sure it's just cut to a thin diameter to not restrict the hook and threaded onto the worm, starting from the tail. Pretty much how you'd rig an O-ring for wacky rigging. Then slide the hook between the straw and the worm.

Neko Rig Options

Great video, thanks for posting.

I found it to be very enlightening, especially about the Soda Straw Technic. I use "O" Rings in Rubber or Metal for my Wacky Rigs. I use the Neko Rig all the time but not necessary with a Soda Straw, but now I will. Here is another example of how to use the Neko Rig. Thanks for your input.

Here's a little tackle tip for you guys to prolong the longevity of your worms.

Soda Straw

Ha, great to see you back o GON with another very clever idea. Using a soda straw? That's a great idea!

Thanks! Now what am I going to do with all the "O" rings I bought?
