Stepped into a well used public stretch of the Toccoa tailwater this morning and drifted a new stonefly pattern I came up with last night. On the third or fourth drift, well, thi.s happened. A personal best for me .

Fish was 26"X16" which the length/girth formula puts at about 8.5lbs.... So glad I chosen to send this fish back to da river.
