Best Allatoona Striper so far…

I caught and released this nice 22 pound Striper today on Allatoona.

It (She?) hit a medium / large Gizzard from Striper Soup on a free line about 50 feet back with a 2/0 circle hook. A couple quick photos and back into the water it went.

Caught one more Hybrid and called it a day. I hope to get out there again one or two more times before we wrap up 2014.

As usual for this time of year, the lake level is dropping fast. Be careful out there.

Very nice fish for Toona. Fat and healthy looking. I wished we could have caught a few like that a couple of weeks ago. ?

I hope to keep seeing that size being caught from the lake. Toona is fun to fish when it gets that low.
