Default Fly-fishing version 6.0

My hobbies are quite cyclic. I'll go after a hobby with a vengeance, then put it on a shelf for later use. Flyfishing has been one of these. But now, I have found flyfishing to be a catalyst for becoming closer to my brother.

Enough background babble. I live near Chattanooga. Will a trip to the Chatooga be worth the trip. I will do plenty of trips closer to home, but I'm looking for a benchmark trip in Georgia to cement the memories in place.

It’s quite a ride from Chattanooga to the Chattooga but you couldn’t pick a better river to experience with your brother. I’ve fished all over two continents and it’s still in my top three rivers.

As a native Rabunite I will say the 'Tooga holds a special place in my heart. Awesome river for sure.

The Tellico, Toccoa DH and the Hiwassee are also fishing good closer to home.

Not so much the Tellico for me. I live in the Big GA, and out of state licenses hurt my feelings.
