Do you guys keep them on a trickle charger or charge and use them?

I have been very impressed with the Duracell agm batteries from Sam's and they come with a 18 month warranty.

keep on a charger that will charge when charge is needed and keep battery charged. Your battery will last a long time if you do. Any battery made by Penn is a good battery. Can find on internet which ones they make of the various brands not their own name brand.

For agm the Duracell 31 series at sams is tough to beat for the price. I used them for years before I went to relion lithium

Fancy batteries aside (AGM,s, Optimas, etc..), the Walmart Battery comes from one of 2 or 3 suppliers, that also supply others - West Marine, NAPA etc... I have had NPA marine batteries last me 6 years with good maintenenace and a quality charger/conditioner. I have had the same type of batteries last me only 2 years too. With these low end batteries it's all down to the quality of lead the manufacturers can obtain and that varies from year to year. I stick with the cheap batteries because I do not see how the high end ones can last any longer than 4 to 6 years, so why pay more?
