Saw a huge gobler on my way in today in the field. Big bearded devil.

Back in Monroe edge of clearcut with white oaks overlooking ditch

Prime time..

Was in some pines...didn’t mind the rain or even rocking back and forth, but when the tree started twisting I figured Mother Nature was telling me now isn’t a good time to be up a pine in the wide open. Got down and went and pulled some cards.

Ended up getting covered up at dark with a small buck and doe’s. Little guy actually roared at them like he was a monster deer. First I’ve heard a buck do that.
