Nothing in Fannin yet but a couple of small scrapes on the walk to stand. Saw four dead deer on 575 between Woodstock and Jasper so definitely chasing in that area this past week.....good looking buck Dutch!

Well I’m back again this morning and brought the boom stick and Bow to do my first ever solo film hunt with a new camera my buddy bought. Felt like a Cabelas commercial walking in this morning. Got all setup and see a big body deer sneak by then 3 doe. Well look up and this nice 8pt shows up in tight shooting lane. Camera on and focus the deer in lens and Pull trigger, sack a taters and he hits the dirt. WOULD OF HELPED TO HIT RECORD!!!

They are definitely crusing, had another 8pt about his size come in also after sitting back down. If he would have made a left turn the stick and string was going to be released. Watched him make a scrape and licking branch though. Decided against the rifle and left it hanging behind me.
