Here is a guaranteed way to see a deer late season in middle GA. My wife is driving her explorer down in the morning, so I left my truck and drove the little focus down after work. It was going to be dark early with the rain, so I didn’t want to go where I’m hunting in the am and decided to check a little clover patch 200 yds from camp. Stuck the rifle in the camper. Would have had to be a monster for me to shoot and cut up tonight anyway.

As I figured, this guaranteed me to walk up on a few all with heads down and their backside toward me at 60 yds. I backed out and left them alone. Probably won’t see a thing in the morning, but it is fun anyway.
