Back at it in Carroll. Hunting the same hay field I’ve hunted a half dozen times over the last two weeks. Deer are absolutely pounding the green forage close to dark. Had 8 come out last night right at the end of shooting time. Wouldn’t mind giving a doe a ride to the sausage factory tonight.

Switched it up to another farm tonight, hunting a small food plot from my porta John blind! Video
Camera and a lever gun is the ticket tonight.

Ground blind on a food plot in Webster Did not see any this am. Raining pretty good now

On the ground in Coweta. Son is on an aluminum ladder / platform portable stand contraption that I used to use 30 years ago. Will see if it still works. Fingers crossed. Sounds like I made the right move not going to Webster! Sorry for the rain Dennis. Hope you score.
