Box blind in SE Troup. Steady rain, 36 degrees. Am I stupid or what? You can’t kill em from the couch.

2 pointer and a little spike been entertaining me for about 20 minutes giving each other head noogies. The show is almost over though.

i started to stay in the camper but the rain on the roof was driving me crazy. Sat in a stand for a little while and the bottom fell out. Walked through the pines to a little plot that has had no tracks all week and one was in it. Wiped the rain off the scope lens a couple of times but couldn’t convince myself there was no bone in the low light. Neck was thick for a doe and I ain’t got a buck tag, so backed out. Started thundering and lightning as soon as I walked back to camp. Not a winter wonderland here. Hope they move better the next two days. Have hunted since the 1st and it has been dead here.
