7/14/18 Crazy Buzzbait Bite Before A Thunderstorm

You may need a new scale. Those were the biggest 4-5# fish I've seen. They looked more like 5-7# 'ers. Either way, that's some fine fishin right there,,,,

Nice outing! enjoyed being in the pond hopper with ya! Yeah - you tore them up on that step down black buzzbait. Nice work. I bet that spinning reel helps keep it up on top. Nice set up. Enjoyed it.

Thanks ya’ll. Yeah, I’ve had that scale for 5 years now, probably need a new one. Another thing, the spinning combo I’m using is something I kind of bought last month as a backup, an Abu Garcia Silver Max. For $60 I think it’s already paid for itself, I would recommend it to anybody looking for a sub $100 combo.
