By “gator tail” I mean look at the extreme length on this tail. I have guided a lot of hunters on some great gators but the tail on this 10’-7” gator is LONG. This gator was taken while bowhunting by a 14 year old. And the gator was lost twice before we caught back up to it. We just had a pull off the first shot and on the second shot the gator wrapped us around a log. We just wouldn’t give up and stayed on the gator until the young man made another great shot and an epic battle broke out. Best of all we filmed all of this and I will produce the video ASAP.
