Some trees are marked blue others orange? Is the orange markings on the hardwoods where there gonna stop cutting? Im glad for the diversity in habitat but im fraid its realy gonna change a honey hole or 2 for me.

I'm not sure about the color meaning, I'd have to defer to one of the fs guys.

Generally red/orange is the stopping point.
As far as the blue markings, it’s either the trees they’re going to take or leave. Where I hunt/trap they mark the ones to keep. Everything else gets cut.

Usually they mark which ever is the least number of trees to mark.
