A very unusual piece, found by Delton's wife.

I had the pleasure of a visit from Delton and Jamie. They left about 10 minutes ago heading back home. While here Jamie showed me this snake staff she found at a yard sale. I have never seeen anything like it. It appears to be a rat or king snake skin stretched over a long wooden shaft. Delton is going to put some more shelac on it and freshen it up a bit.
In any event, I thought it was pretty darn cool and worthy of sharing here.

Jamie had a real hard time holding it without a rag. The feel of it gave hger the heebie jeebies.
