Ingles in Barnesville had a 2 big bins of AA and AAA RayOVac 4 packs for a $1 a piece. They were right in front of the beer cave.

Not a big fan of HD, but since the had 9volts, I grabbed a 12 pack and a 60 pack of AAA at lunch. Looks like the AAA are good until 2029 and the 9vs are good until 2024 (says 5 years on them instead of 10), so I think the batteries are reasonably fresh.
