Anyone have any experience with using airbnb? What should I look for other than reviews? Thx again

I have a friend of mine that uses it to go to Europe every year....and he swears by it. Outside of that I can't really advise on what to look for.

Word of mouth and reviews...that's all I can say about it. I've had several friends who have used it with success. Just as anything, there will be positives and negatives.
