First let me say thank you all! This forum has helped me with my electric adventures in the past.
... now I am back again and doing it all over again with my 2 little boys (3 and 8).
The Minnkota Maxxum 101 36v (black) transom mount I have used in the past appears to be discontinued. I am reluctant to go with the salt water version due to the shaft length.
Can anyone recommend the Motorguide version? At $600'ish it doesn't look so bad. In reality the boat will end up with 2 36v motors (1 in the front and 1 in the back).
Any suggestions on the transom 36v? Thank you in advance
