American Bass Anglers (ABA) tournaments

I know this is wrong forum but I only got one response under tournament forum so thought I would post here since it appears more people view this forum.

Has anyone fished as a co-angler in an ABA tournament? I have fished team tournaments before, but never an ABA tournament. I was thinking of trying as a co-angler to see what it is all about and maybe learn some new lakes. Is it hard to get an available spot to fish as a co-angler? Any suggestions or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks

I am not 100% on this but I believe aba is a tournament where even the cos are fishing against the boaters. That is really tough on the back seater. Look at the weekend series and the bfls where you are competing against other cos. Much fairer imo. You can learn alot and meet some great anglers fishing as a co. Good luck!

My buddy fished as a co angler in the BFLs and likes it. I’ve done a bfl a couple times. Nice and organized but the local hammers show out usually

I would fish the BFL's as a CO.
