The Christmas tree farm closed down 2 years ago. Since then the wife got a fake one that has the lights already on it. After she gets done decorating it, it looks better than any live tree we ever had.

Here's some of our glass ornament oldies...my favorite is the red one "dipped in snow", had it as long as I can remember. The kids used to say it was a fishing bobber.

And our "hand me down" artificial tree with a complete hodgepodge of generational ornaments. Each year, we look for a fancy new pre-lit tree, but none of them seem to look as good as our old dinosaur of a tree.

You gotta be careful with those glass ones. Some are fragile as a egg. I tell ya what I miss is the bubble lights. They were kinda shaped like a candle and liquid bubbled through them. Also miss the candles in the windows with that faint glow. You don’t see that much anymore.
